OVERVIEW

WHAT WE DO

Structured cabling is the physical foundation of every network, security system, and communications infrastructure in your facility. Poor installation — inadequate pathway, improper termination, untested runs — costs more to fix than to do right. Lightning Mobile Electric installs copper and fiber cabling infrastructure to TIA-568 and TIA-942 standards, certifies every run with calibrated test equipment, and delivers complete documentation that is useful for your IT team, not just filed away. We serve enterprise facilities, data centers, retail rollouts, and industrial campuses.

CAPABILITIES

SCOPE OF SERVICE

COPPER STRUCTURED CABLING

CAT6 and CAT6A installation from main distribution frame through horizontal distribution to work area outlets. We install the pathway infrastructure first — cable trays, conduit, wire management — then pull and terminate cable to TIA-568 standards. Every run is tested with a calibrated Fluke DSX cable analyzer for wiremap, length, insertion loss, NEXT, and return loss. Certification reports are delivered digitally in PDF format.

  • • CAT6 and CAT6A horizontal cabling installation
  • • Shielded (STP/FTP) cabling for high-interference environments
  • • Pathway: cable tray, ladder rack, conduit, and J-hook
  • • Patch panel termination and port identification
  • • Fluke DSX certification testing to TIA-568 Category standards
  • • Labeled and documented circuit maps

FIBER OPTIC INSTALLATION

Single-mode and multi-mode fiber for backbone, campus, and long-distance applications. We install inside-plant (ISP) and outside-plant (OSP) fiber, perform fusion splicing and mechanical termination, and OTDR-test every run for distance verification, end-to-end loss, and event documentation. Fiber installations are designed for redundancy — diverse pathways, protected sleeves, and proper bend radius management.

  • • Single-mode OS2 and multi-mode OM3/OM4/OM5 fiber
  • • Fusion splicing for low-loss backbone termination
  • • LC, SC, and MPO pre-terminated assemblies
  • • OTDR testing — distance, loss, and event documentation
  • • Inside-plant (ISP) and outside-plant (OSP) installation
  • • Fiber splice closure and LIU installation

NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE

MDF and IDF room build-out, rack installation, patch panel configuration, and cable management. We work from your network topology diagram or develop one if it does not exist. Rack installation includes proper grounding, PDU configuration, and cable management that allows future adds and changes without disrupting existing runs. Labels, port maps, and circuit documentation are delivered as part of every installation.

  • • MDF and IDF rack and cabinet installation
  • • Patch panel and fiber panel build-out
  • • Horizontal and vertical cable management installation
  • • Equipment rack grounding and bonding
  • • Port labeling and patch panel port maps
  • • Cable management documentation in electronic format

TESTING & CERTIFICATION

Every cable we install is tested and certified before the project is closed. For copper, we test all four pairs to TIA-568 Category requirements using a calibrated Fluke DSX. For fiber, we OTDR-test every run and document end-to-end loss at both wavelengths. Test reports are provided digitally and include every run — pass or fail — with measurement data to support the certification.

  • • Fluke DSX CAT6A certification testing — all pairs
  • • OTDR fiber testing at 850nm and 1300nm
  • • End-to-end insertion loss measurement
  • • TIA compliance documentation with test reports
  • • Complete as-built cable schedule and circuit map
  • • Digital test report delivery in PDF and native format

THE 3P METHOD

HOW WE DELIVER

01

DESIGN

Network topology review or development, cable routing planning, pathway specification, and rack layout — all before any material is ordered.

02

PATHWAY

Cable tray, ladder rack, conduit, and J-hook installation — the infrastructure that protects and organizes cable. Pathway first, cable second.

03

TERMINATION

Cable pulling with proper tension management, termination at patch panels and work area outlets, connector and port labeling per the agreed naming convention.

04

TEST & CERTIFY

End-to-end testing with calibrated equipment — Fluke DSX for copper, OTDR for fiber — with complete test reports, as-built drawings, and circuit documentation.
