DIVISION 02
COMMERCIAL LIGHTING DIVISION
LED RETROFIT & INSTALLATION · 10M+ FIXTURES MANAGED · NATIONWIDE ROLLOUTS
DIVISION OVERVIEW
WHAT WE DELIVER
Lightning Mobile Electric's Lighting Division manages over 10 million fixtures. LED retrofit, photometric design, nationwide rollouts across five states. From single-site retrofits to multi-hundred-location rollout programs, we deliver turnkey commercial lighting on time and on budget.
DIVISION SCOPE
SCOPE OF SERVICE
LED RETROFIT
Cut lighting energy cost by 60 to 80 percent. Full-facility LED upgrades with rebate capture and utility coordination.
COMMERCIAL LIGHTING INSTALLATION
From a single retrofit to a nationwide multi-site rollout — we handle it end-to-end.
PHOTOMETRIC DESIGN
Computer-modeled light layouts matched to task requirements — picking, stowing, retail display, parking lot security.
PARKING LOT & ROADWAY
Pole installations, fixture replacements, LED conversions for exterior commercial lighting.
CONTROLS & DIMMING
Occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, programmable lighting controls, and BMS integration.
REBATE MANAGEMENT
We handle Xcel, Rocky Mountain Power, and utility rebate applications, documentation, and follow-up.
HOW WE WORK
TECHNICAL APPROACH
DATA-DRIVEN ENERGY ANALYSIS
Before we install a single fixture, we capture baseline energy data: kW, kWh, power factor, and fixture type. Post-retrofit, we measure actual energy savings and validate rebate documentation. National account rollouts are tracked across hundreds of locations — we provide real-time dashboards showing installation progress, energy reduction (MWh saved YTD), and rebate capture status.
PHOTOMETRIC PRECISION
Lighting performance is not about lumens—it's about task performance and energy efficiency. We use NVIS photometric modeling to design layouts that match application needs: warehouse picking (50 fc minimum), retail display (300+ fc for visual merchandising), parking security (5 fc minimum on asphalt). LEDs are selected for color rendering (CRI), flicker performance, and dimming compatibility.
UTILITY & REBATE CAPTURE
Our team navigates complex rebate programs across Xcel, Rocky Mountain Power, and regional utilities. We pre-qualify projects for incentives, handle technical documentation, and submit claims. Over $3M+ in rebate capture across our lighting portfolio. Controls (occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting) add 15-30% incremental savings and extend incentive eligibility.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING SYSTEMS
PARKING LOT & ROADWAY LIGHTING
Pole installation, LED conversion, photometric design, and energy savings. From new installations to complete facility retrofits with smart controls.
POLE & ARM INSTALLATION
New pole installation with concrete footings, arm brackets, and luminaire mounting. We handle pole sizing, spacing, electrical service termination, and grounding for single-site or multi-site deployments.
LED FIXTURE RETROFIT
Convert existing metal halide, HPS, and mercury vapor to modern LED fixtures. Fixture-for-fixture replacement, retrofit kit installation, power supply upgrade, and ballast removal.
PHOTOMETRIC DESIGN
Computer-modeled light layout matched to application requirements. Illumination level calculation, uniformity analysis, security lighting validation, and dark-sky compliant design.
SMART CONTROLS & AUTOMATION
Occupancy sensors, daylight harvesting, and programmable scheduling for energy optimization. Motion detection, time-clock controls, and dimming for 15-30% incremental energy savings.

THE PPP METHOD
PLANNING · PROCUREMENT · PRODUCTION

PLANNING
Site audits, electrical surveys, load analysis, and clean documentation so Service Coordinators land the right decision at the front end. No surprises in the field.

PROCUREMENT
Whether we supply material or the customer does, we give technical support every step of the way. Right part, right place, on-time — no exceptions.

PRODUCTION
When a project enters production, it is completed to the quality standard our name carries. Every connection, every panel, every rollout.
