WHAT WE DO
Backup power infrastructure exists for one reason: to keep critical operations running when the utility fails. Lightning Mobile Electric designs and installs emergency generators, UPS systems, and automatic transfer switches for healthcare facilities, data centers, manufacturing plants, retail operations, and commercial buildings. We size systems to the actual critical load, not to round numbers. We test systems under real load conditions. And we maintain them on the schedules that keep them ready when they are needed.

GENERATOR INSTALLATION
New generator installation, existing unit replacement, and capacity upgrades for commercial and industrial facilities. Fuel source selection — natural gas, propane, or diesel — is driven by availability, runtime requirements, and local code. We manage the full scope: equipment procurement, concrete pad and structural work, fuel system installation, automatic transfer switch coordination, utility notification, and commissioning.

UPS SYSTEMS
Uninterruptible power supply installation for IT infrastructure, data centers, healthcare equipment, and process-critical systems. We work with modular and monolithic UPS topologies across all major manufacturers. UPS installations are executed under the facility's change management process, with the system installed and tested on bypass before the load is transferred. Static transfer switch testing is performed as part of commissioning.

BATTERY SYSTEMS
Battery string installation, replacement, and maintenance across VRLA, AGM, and lithium-ion chemistries. Battery replacements are executed with the UPS on bypass — no load interruption to the protected equipment. We perform string equalization, capacity testing, and thermal monitoring setup. For facilities converting from VRLA to lithium-ion, we manage the full battery room modification scope.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Backup power systems fail at the worst possible time when they are not maintained. Our preventive maintenance programs include monthly transfer testing, annual load bank testing, battery capacity verification, fuel sampling, and generator service. We maintain maintenance logs that satisfy the requirements of The Joint Commission, NFPA 110, and data center SLA documentation.

INSTALL
Equipment delivery, pad and structural work, fuel system installation, ATS wiring, circuit termination, and battery or fuel commissioning — all coordinated to minimize exposure.
TEST & COMMISSION
Full load transfer testing, battery capacity verification, generator load bank test, and documentation package delivery — including the transfer sequence and emergency operating procedures.
